1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LetterLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

LetterLog is a document processing application that allows users to upload photos of postal letters and uses AI to extract key information such as sender details, deadlines, amounts, and required actions. Users can also optionally connect Google Calendar to create events for letter deadlines.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use LetterLog.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts.
  • Use the service for any purpose other than managing personal or business correspondence.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.

5. AI Processing

LetterLog uses artificial intelligence to extract information from uploaded letter images. While we strive for accuracy, AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information before acting on it. LetterLog is not liable for any actions taken based on inaccurate AI extractions.

6. Third-Party Services

LetterLog integrates with third-party services including OpenAI (for AI processing) and Google Calendar (for event creation). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

LetterLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to LetterLog at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
